The rooms were clean and adequate for our needs, and the staff kept the refrigerators stocked. One oddity we did not use much as the “booze wheel” on the dining table. It consisted of four different alcohol bottles, hung upside down and you hold your cup under it and push up gently to dispense said alcohol. English speaking TV channels were lacking, but we didn’t go there to watch TV.
We tried all of the ala carte restaurants and thought the food was good to very good. The buffet dining was average for an all-inclusive and nothing to write home about. The omelet station and fajita station was perfect, and I primarily took advantage of them.
The pools were beautiful and well maintained with plenty of seating. They had umbrellas, but, in our opinions, they should add shade coverage, such as small pergolas strategically placed for shade, while still leaving areas open for sunning.
The beach was lovely and the waters beautiful, also with plenty of seating beachside. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, all of which we enjoyed.
All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful with their cozumel sea trek recommendations. We were approached once about a timeshare purchase. We quickly declined and were not asked again for the remainder of our trip. We did not do the Royal level upgrade and, based on what they seemed to offer, didn’t feel the extra cost was worth the additional perks.
They have a beach party dinner on Thursdays. They have live music, dancing and a piƱata for the kids. The buffet food was good, the staff attentive and the views spectacular.
All in all, a delightful place. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
